New Medicare Proposal Could Help Cancer Patients

A new federal proposal could mean Medicare would cover navigation services for cancer patients — potentially improving diagnosis and treatment time for countless Americans. Patient navigators are described as a ‘new frontier’ in cancer care by helping patients navigate the complex world of cancer care. Public comment on the proposal is open until Sept 11.
